Vision statement
It is the VISION of Sunnyside Baptist Church to reach the people of Laramie County with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and guide them to Christian maturity.
Mission statement
To go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded us.
About us
Sunnyside is a wonderful people, because God is making us ready as a bride for His Son Jesus! God has given us the privilege and responsibility of reaching the people in our individual lives and the community of Cheyenne in our life together. We will do this as He empowers us by means of:
Loving God with everything we are and with all He has given us to use.
Loving every person we encounter with the same attention and sensitivity we give ourselves. Jesus said that in doing so, we will fulfill all of God’s requirements. We approach this effort with the tools of:
- Worship – Genuine adoration of the One True Triune God with music, drama, preaching and living.
- Fellowship – Honest and loving in-depth relationships with each other as believers in Jesus the Risen Savior.
- Discipleship – Growing study in God’s Word, the Bible, and developing as followers of Christ through application of the principles learned.
- Ministry – Serving Jesus by serving people in ways that really matter and make positive differences.
- Evangelism – Telling others personally how Jesus saves and gives truth and life.
- Missions – Becoming all things to all people that by all means we might reach some with the Good News that Jesus Christ, the only way to the Father, really does save and secure souls for incredible eternal life.
- Giving – Sacrificing generously of our finances, time, abilities and prayers to enable missions, ministry, fellowship, worship and discipleship.
